“The Invincible Anita” Wins Second Place in Multicultural Category in Reader Views Annual Literary Awards.
“The Invincible Anita” was selected as the Second in Multicultural category of 2008 by Reader Views Annual Literary Awards – Reviewers Choice. The annual awards were established to honor writers who self-published or had their books published by a small press, university press, or independent book publisher.
“Reader Views reviews more than 2,000 books per year from budding authors who have worked hard to achieve their dream of being published,” Reader Views Managing Editor Irene Watson says. “Our Annual Literary Awards recognize the very best of these up-and-coming authors, all talented writers who we know have very promising writing careers ahead of them.”

Contentment, despair, and tons of other emotions will wash over you as you read this captivating novel by Lisa Lynn Ramos. She pulls you into a deep cave full of imaginative things just waiting to pounce out at you. Surprises are around every corner, and you never know what’s up ahead.
The main character, Anita, shows that things don’t always turn out the way you want them to, and life isn’t always a parade. There isn’t always a nice surprise waiting for you every step of the way. Anybody above the age of seven would certainly love this book. You can even read it to your kids, and, at the same time, teach them many of the life skills presented in this book.
Whoever reads this book will create a whole new world of imagination for his or her self, while watching as Anita creates her own. The author gets the main point of the storyline across fairly well, while also constructing a narrative that is enjoyable and entertaining. The book is an excellent read for those who like storylines that contain a big lesson.
The book is easy to relate to because some of the events also happen in real life. Everybody reacts in a different way to things, but Anita is courageous and can make it through just about anything. My favorite part of the story is when Anita makes second place in the fair after she thought her project had been ruined. She shows you that you can achieve your goals no matter how many mistakes you make.
I give the book a perfect score of five! The book has all of the qualities you would look for in a great story. It keeps your attention, there’s lots of exciting events, it has a big climax, and astounding dialogue. The author writes very well, and I look forward to reading many more of her books. “The Invincible Anita: Book One” by Lisa Lynn Ramos exceeded my expectations, and I would definitely recommend it young readers.
