Gig Harbor, WA. February 23, 2011, Anita Sutherland Millmann, Published Author, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in writing. Growing up in the country side, Ms.Sutherland Millmann had the opportunity to interact with a wide variety of indoor pets and outdoor animals. Following her retirement from her position as a health and wellness counselor, she drew on positive personal experiences to pursue a writing career. Having worked in this profession for a little more than three years, she is already a published author of three books: "Checky the Feral Cat," "Fluffly My Yellow Dog" and "Fluffy the Apartment Cat."
A supporter of The Humane Society of the United States, Wolf Haven International and local charity auctions for non-profit charity organizations which house and feed animals that have been deserted by their owners, she also works as a full-time caregiver for the elderly.
Ms. Sutherland Millmann has won a number of annual written and monitory awards and owes her success to her strong work ethics and determination. As she continues to publish more works, she hopes to inspire both young and old to strive to lead a life of compassion, just as she has. Ms. Sutherland Millmann holds an associate degree in economics and attended Columbus College majoring in Psychology and Foreign Languages. She attended STENZ and is a Certified Biofeedback Specialist; continuing education has been very important in facilitating her professional repertoire.
