While reading "Fluffly My Yellow Dog" I realized how caring this story is written by the author. I was moved to tears when I realized a friend is dealing with similar issues with an elderly parent. I would like my friend to read this story to help her with decisions she is facing. This is a very timely and well written story. Jennifer

It's great, wonderful! What great stories. I could really visualize it, even down to the man crawling into the crawl space to get Checky's kittens out. You make a wonderful story teller! Vicki

I gave your book "Checky The Feral Cat" as a Christmas gift to my two grandchildren age 7 and age 2 in Arizona. They loved the story! The 7 year old took it to school and read it to her class on a sharing day. Later she called me and recited it to me over the phone. It is their favorite book. The 2 year old loves the pictures of the kittens watching TV. I can't wait until she is old enough to read it to me just like the 7 year old did. Again thank you for a wonderful story. I can't wait until your next book comes out.

I am honored that Anita shared her newest book with me, pre-publication of "Fluffly My Yellow Dog". As she leaved through it, I was charmed by the gentle way in which she had communicated the older lady's cognitive shortcomings, as well as the development of the bond between this lady and the charming, patient cat. When, at last the manuscript turned to the elderly lady's empty chair with the stalwart cat sitting quietly beside it, I have to confess that I was moved to tears. So skillfully and subtly had Anita crafted this unique relationship that I wept at the loss. This is a moving story of an unlikely bond formed between two animals - one human and one feline - made possible by the non-judgmental and accepting nature of love. I am grateful to Anita for sharing this story with me. Mary B., Mother and Grandmother

The Book "Fluffly My Yellow Dog" is very different from "Checky The Feral Cat". My granddaughter age seven stopped reading and said, "Nana, I want you to come to my wedding". I said to her, " I may be in a wheelchair by then". My granddaughter said, "then my brother will have to push you around Nana". We both had tears in our eyes, prior to reading "Fluffly My Yellow Dog" such a heartfelt conversation would not have been possible. Anita, you nailed it! Thank you for this very special moment with my granddaughter. Nana, grandmother

I became tearful as I read your wonderful storybooks. I thought it was great reading about the love for animals. As a animal lover myself I know they have personality, intuitiveness and they are smart. First grandma was a humbug and then she turned into a cat lover. Your books touch the heart, they are lovely. I think they are a hit! Little children as well as adults love your stories. I was touched as I visualized and identified with anyone that loves animals. I appreciate the needs of animals. I think you should be on Oprah! Mary M., former teacher/educator retired
